Measure and pour 1-2 fl oz. / 30-60 ml of treatment into a bowl, depending on hair type texture, density and length. Allow products to aerate for 10-15 minutes as the client's hair is clarified with Keratin Complex Clarifying Shampoo.

Do NOT pour product back into the bottle after application is completed. Keratin Complex Clarifying Shampoo effectively removes buildup and properly opens the cuticle in preparation for NKST Shampoo 2-3 times; keeping in mind that coarse, resistant or gray hair may require 3 shampoos. We recommend allowing50% of the lather to remain in the hair after the first shampoo, Do not completely rinse the lather out.

Simply add more Keratin Complex Clarifying Shampoo and water with each application. Rinse completely after the final shampoo. Rough dry hair using fingers.

Blow-dry the hair until 100% dry using a medium heat setting. Gloves should be worn during application. Divide and clip the hair into 6 sections. Starting at the nape of the neck, part the hair into ½ to 1 inch/ 12 to 25-mm sub-sections. Use an application brush to apply NKST.

Begin application ¼-inch / 6.5 mm off the scalp through to the ends of the hair, working toward the top of the head. Comb away from the face using a fine-tooth comb to ensure the product is evenly distributed and to avoid oversaturation. If a sub-section has become oversaturated, drop the next sub-section without adding more product, then comb sub-section together.

Continue combing for even-distribution and to avoid oversaturation. When treatment has become been thoroughly distributed throughout the hair, cover hair with a plastic cap and allow product to absorb at room temperature for 30 minutes. Gloves should be worn during this step. After 30 minutes, remove cap. Using a fine-tooth comb, comb the hair thoroughly away from the face to ensure even distribution and prevent oversaturation. Wipe only excess product onto a towel. Refer to the Keratin Complex Training Manual for information on how to prevent oversaturation. Gloves should be worn during the second blow-dry step. Before blow-drying, section and clop the hair into 6 sections. Low-dry the hair (using the concentration nozzle) one section at a time on a cool dryer setting, using fingers and concentrating airflow downward and away from the face. Blow-dry the hair until 80% dry using only fingers, and then finish using a Keratin Complex vent brush. Hair must 100% dry before flat ironing. Replace the client's towl. Starting at the nape of the neck, flat iron 1/8 inch / 3-mm sub-section s (sections should be similar to a highlight section). "Tap, tap, tap" the iron of the road area first, then follow through form root to end. Use light tension on the ends to help smooth the root area. Adjust the number of iron passes if the hair is compromised or extremely fine. Continue this process throughout the entire head. IMPORTANT: Always use your professional judgment when selecting a flat iron temperature; the temperature should be adjusted based on the clients on the client's hair type. Start at the lowest temperature and increase only if needed. Refer to the Keratin Complex Training Manual for more information Warning: Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, flush eyes with water. In the event of further irritation, consult your medical practitioner. Store in a cool, dry place. Best used within two years after the lot number found on the bottom of the bottle. Aftercare: The clients should not use traditional shampoo or get the hair wet for at least 72 hours after treatment. The client should avoid getting moisture into the hair during this 72-hour period. If the hair gets wet, instruct the client to blow-dry and go over their hair lightly with a flat iron on low heat if necessary. The client should wear their hair down and should not use pins, clips, ponytails holders or glasses to hold or pull the hair back during this period.
